First off, I found John's way of speaking in this book to be refreshingly straight to the point. He never talks down at you and explains things in detail, but in a way that's easy to understand. It truly is a book for anyone to pick up and learn from - not just people who have already read 1,000 business books. He's clearly knowledgeable in his field, very well-read, and quick to point out all of the things he's learned along the way so he can pass them to you. There are quite a few sections I highlighted, my favorite being how to approach goal setting (thanks for that one!) that has already been working for me. It's a short read that feels like a "best of", singling out everything that works and separating it from the noise.
