I googled myself and found the author of the same name. I’m a CPA and majored in economics at Tennessee. I found that John laid out some technical concepts that I already knew (and some I didn’t), but I it was more about the way he presented the information. He didn’t try to dazzle with a bunch of jargon, but instead explained things you can take action on. As I continue my quest to transition from working at a big company to doing more direct accounting work I’ll definitely reread John’s book. Anyway, I was lucky that my vanity of googling my name lead to an inspiring read. :)
